Preliminary ProceduresRemove front fender. Refer toFront Fender Replacement.Remove front door. Refer toFront Side Door Replacement.Remove the insulator pad between the fender and the hingepillar to remove bolts.

Front Side Door Hinge to Body Bolt (Qty:-4)

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

Tighten

36-Y-(26-lb-ft)

Front Side Door Hinge Assembly

ProcedureIf installing new door, transfer all necessarycomponents.Verify door is properly aligned. If door adjustments areneeded, refer toFront Side Door Adjustment.

Tip:Support the door during procedure.

Use a soft marker to outline around the outside of hinge forinstall purposes.

When re-installing door, align hinge with marks made duringremoval procedures.
