Removal ProcedureRaise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.Remove the tire and wheel. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation.Remove the park brake cable bolt from the trailing arm andfrom the frame. Refer toParking Brake Rear Cable Replacement.Remove the trailing arm bracket to body bolts. Refer toTrailing Arm Bracket Replacement.

Remove the trailing arm bushing to bracket nut andbolt.

Remove the trailing arm to knucklebolts-(1).Remove the trailing arm.Installation ProcedurePosition the trailing arm to the vehicle.

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.
Install the trailing arm to knuckle bolts-(1) andtighten to110-Y(81-lb-ft).Position the trailing arm bracket to the trailing arm.
Loosely install the trailing arm bushing to bracket nut andbolt.Install the trail arm bracket . Refer toTrailing Arm Bracket Replacement.Tighten the trailing arm bushing to bracket nut and bolt to160-Y(118-lb-ft).Install the park brake cable bolt to trailing arm and to theframe. Refer toParking Brake Rear Cable Replacement.Install the tire and wheel. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation.Lower the vehicle.
