Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.Remove the fluid drain plug-(1).Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container.
Caution:Refer toComponent Fastener Tightening Caution.
Install the fluid drain plug-(1) and tighten to12-Y(106-lb-in).Installation Procedure
Lower the vehicle.Remove the fluid fill cap-(1).Fill the transmission to the proper level with the correctfluid. Refer toTransmission Fluid Level and Condition CheckandFluid Capacity Specifications.Install the fluid fill cap-(1).
