Removal Procedure
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation.Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer toFront Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement.

Use the J–43631 -ball joint remover-to press the wheel stud out of the front wheel bearing and hub assembly.Installation Procedure

Install the wheel stud into the front wheel bearing and hub assembly.Start a sufficient amount of flat washers and an old wheel nut onto the wheel stud.Gradually tighten the old wheel nut in order to draw the stud into the hub flangeuntil the head of the wheel stud is fully seated against the hub flange.Remove the old wheel nut and flat washers.

Install the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer toFront Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement.Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
