Action

Interference occurs in the column assembly pivot path.	Inspect the column jacket for wear patterns. Ensure that themounting and the pivot bolts are properly installed and that thecolumn is properly aligned in the vehicle.
The tilt lever assembly is damaged.	Replace the steering column. Refer toSteering Column Replacement.
