EN 46104 Water Pump Pulley Holder
For equivalent regional tools refer toSpecial Tools
Removal ProcedureDrain the cooling system. Refer toCooling System Draining and Filling.Remove the generator drive belt. Refer toDrive Belt Replacement.Use the EN 46104 water pump pulley holder (1) to retain the pulley.
Remove the water pump pulley bolts and DISCARD the bolts.
Caution:This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEWtorque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure toreplace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicleor component.
Remove the water pump pulley.Remove the water pump bolts and DISCARD the bolts.Remove the water pump.Remove and DISCARD the water pump seal.Carefully clean the water pump sealing surfaces.Installation Procedure
Install a NEW water pump seal.Install the water pump.
Caution:This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEWtorque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure toreplace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicleor component.
Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.
Install the NEW water pump bolts and hand tighten the water pump bolts.Tighten the water pump bolts in sequence.On the initial pass, tighten the bolts in sequence to 10-Y (89-lb-in).On the second pass, tighten the bolts in sequence to 10-Y (89-lb-in).On the final pass, tighten the bolts in sequence shown an additional 45-degrees.
Install the water pump pulley and the NEW water pump pulley bolts.
Use the EN 46104 water pump pulley holder (1) to hold the pulley.Install the water pump pulley bolts and tighten to 10-Y (89-lb-in).Install the generator drive belt. Refer toDrive Belt Replacement.Fill the cooling system. Refer toCooling System Draining and Filling.
Front Wiper Blade Replacement
To replace the wiper blade:
Pull the wiper assembly away
from the windshield.
Lift up on the latch in the
middle of the wiper blade
